Listwyn, operated by LALIN LLC (“we”, “us”), is a listing-management and SEO tool that helps individual Etsy sellers create, optimize, and manage the listings in their own Etsy shop. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and your rights.

What we access

When you connect your shop, you authorize us through Etsy’s official OAuth 2.0 flow (scopes: listings_r, listings_w, shops_r, shops_w). We never see or store your Etsy password. Using the Etsy Open API v3, we access only the data needed to provide the service: your own listings (title, description, tags, materials, price, images, inventory, state, and each listing’s own view and favorite counts) and your own shop (name, sections, policies, listing counts, lifetime sales count, average rating and review count, and your shop’s public reviews). We do not request the transactions_r scope, and we do not access buyer personal data, payment or financial data, receipts, or private messages.

How we use it, and our commitments

We act as a service provider to you and process your data only to provide the features you use. We never sell, lease, or disclose Etsy API data or Etsy member data to third parties for their own independent purposes, and we do not aggregate or resell Etsy data. We use trusted service providers for hosting, database and image storage, authentication, and other infrastructure services, who process data only on our behalf and solely to provide the Service.

AI-assisted drafting is performed by a trusted AI provider that processes content solely to generate your own listing, on our behalf and under confidentiality; this content is never used to train the provider’s models. Etsy API data is not submitted to external AI or machine-learning providers for analytics or model-training purposes; any such use that requires additional Etsy authorization is enabled only if that authorization has been obtained and disclosed to you. Any analysis or AI-assisted drafting is limited to your own shop and your own product information, to help you improve your own listings. We do not scan, scrape, or analyze other Etsy sellers’ shops, listings, reviews, or content, and no other seller’s Etsy content is collected or sent to any AI provider.

Write actions (creating, updating, or publishing a listing) happen only against your own shop, and only when you explicitly initiate or schedule them (for example, using the publishing calendar). We do not make unsolicited changes to your shop.

Storage, security, and freshness

Access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and transmitted only over HTTPS/TLS. Your data is logically isolated to your account. We honor Etsy’s data-freshness requirements: we do not display listing content more than six (6) hours older than Etsy, or other Etsy content more than twenty-four (24) hours older, and we do not cache Etsy content longer than reasonably necessary.

Your rights & deletion

You can disconnect your Etsy shop at any time, from within the app or from your Etsy account settings (etsy.com/your/apps). When you disconnect, we immediately stop accessing your shop and remove the stored Etsy access and refresh tokens.

To permanently delete all data we hold about you — including your imported listings, product images, cached shop and listing data, and settings — you can delete your account, or request deletion by contacting us. Upon deletion we purge that data from our systems (and remove your product images from storage); legal acceptance records are retained only as proof of consent, with personal identifiers (such as IP and user-agent) removed.

Data incidents

In the event of a data breach affecting Etsy member data, we will notify Etsy and the affected seller within 24 hours of discovery, consistent with Etsy’s API Terms.
